2006: Frontiers of Theoretical Statistics

January 13-14, 2006

The Department of Statistics at the University of Florida will host its 8th Annual Winter Workshop in Gainesville, Florida, during January 13-14, 2006. The workshop will focus on recent advances made in the field of theoretical statistics. A major purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for the advancement of statistical theory and its potential applications, to discuss and examine areas that are on the cutting edge of statistical research, and to identify areas for future research. In addition to the invited presentations, the workshop will include a contributed poster session.
