⚠️ Note on Data Science B.S.

The Data Science B.S. is not directly available to incoming transfer students. However, you may transfer as a Statistics B.A. student and request a major change once you meet the
Critical Tracking Criteria.
(This is the only allowed major change for transfer students).

Solving Registration Blocks

Common Issue: The “STA T000” Trap

If your transfer courses appear as STA T000 or STA L000, the registration system cannot verify your prerequisites (e.g., it doesn’t know your generic Calc 3 fulfills the Calc 3 requirement for STA 4321).

Step-by-Step Solution

1. Get Evaluation

Contact the advisor of the original subject (e.g., contact Math for a Calculus evaluation).

2. Forward to Us

Send that evaluation to Dr. Athienitis with your UFID (No Dashes).

3. Get Cleared

We will manually waive the prerequisite or add you to the course.
