Combined Degree Program

Program Eligibility

The Combined Degree path is available exclusively to Statistics Majors (B.A./B.S.).
Due to the unique, rigorous course sequencing of the Data Science B.S. curriculum, combined degree options are not offered for that major.

A Pathway to Accelerated Success

The Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Program is an elite track for students ready to pursue an accelerated curriculum. The primary advantage is efficiency: a minimum of 12 and up to 15 semester hours of graduate-level statistics courses may be used as dual credit for both degrees.

The Accelerated Path (5-Year)

Earn two degrees in five years by double-counting core courses.

Ready to apply? Contact the Graduate Coordinator for specific course approval.

The Traditional Path (Standard)

We encourage students to consider this route for maximum immersion:

  • Funding Potential: Graduate students in the traditional track are often eligible for Teaching Assistantships, which frequently include tuition waivers and stipends.
  • Breadth of Skill: Provides more time for diverse electives, deep-dive research projects, and high-impact summer internships.

Students are advised to contact the Graduate Coordinator for details on funding and professional pathways.
